That's what a computer crashing and a hard drive re-format does you, you forget about your blog. I'm sorry I won't neglect you again...

Never did make a New Year Resolution.

Meanwhile, I'm loving my CCAs! The new batch of J1s are awfully liberal (from time to time it matches my tastes. Please do not read this wrongly. Grr.) and an interesting bunch, definitely much different from those I knew back in RI.

Loss : An Avian Regiments tale is going along nicely, finally found the motivation to get the rough part over and done with. Can't wait to get to Lizalria and Raven's special chapter. Check it out in the link in the links!

Argh history is beginning to lose it's allure.

Do you sometimes wonder, what you'll do with something you've strove so hard to get? Like when you finally get it, what are you going to do with it?

Hmm.

Anyway, it's been a good while since the opening of school, and life is starting to go back to normal. Hey, I still go down to PI on Satudays, though I wish I could get a game this days though, sigh.

Man why can't I get my old charisma and confidence back? I enjoyed my first few months in school last year. Wonder what happened.

It's all cool now, never even slept in lectures this whle year, and homework's going on nicely. Although my comp crashed after stupidly installing Service Pack 2 by mistake >.< http://www.40konline.com/mos/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=861&topic=128935.0 It's like a novel, I'm like writing it whenver I can, though I've come to a rather tiresome part. Man this chapter is draggging.

Gotta get back to 5 Bio summaries in one night! I blame my old computer. Why must she crash, whyyyyy.

Well, after several batches of photos on the JC Band Feste, I finally found some that has my face in it!

Even then it's in passing. Grr.

Anyway there were some recordings of us in action, well, I'll say if you've missed the concert, too bad. Listening to these recordings sound a bit... flat.

I blame the camera.

Oh, and Merry Christmas.

It's moments like these where I'm just inspired to write, and just write. The constant motion of my fingers producing nothing but lines of text with the sounds of music (techno right now) in the background just feels good. At least it's something happening.

Well, I've promised a Band update, and just yesterday was the last day of the JC Band Festival, so I feel this is a good spot to start again.

Of course I've missed a huge update which was the J1 Batch Chalet, but I guess it hardly matters now anyway.

So, the JC Band Feste 2006.

Yeah, this was a small little annual event where the bands of the JCs of Singapore come together to form up different other bands, and practice during concerts and sectionals, to finally put up a concert at the end of the festival. I was in Saint Saens, and yes, I was the only RJC Euphonium. Darn you Alvin. (heh) I would just like to say that my section was nice. (Yes I understand some of my batch mates are getting tired of hearing me say that, especially since they have less than amicable sections...) Many thanks to Shannon and Xin Yuan for making the JC Band Feste memorable. My only regret is that I didn't get any pictures, all I have a small piece of card from Xin Yuan...

Yeah and I loved the music that we played, especially St Florian's, the melody was great and sounded perfect for a Euphonium piece. Copacabana was fun, just that we didn't really get much melodies. I don't mind, if we had we'll have to stand up. March Suite Espanol was great too, Folk Dances was not as great (but has lots of potential if I had practiced it more).

It's funny though, the purpose of the Band Feste is for the players of the different JC's' bands to come together and to get to know each other, but for only a short period of 3 days... After this, can we remember the time spent together? Can we keep in touch, to keep in contact with each other? Only time will tell.

Till then, I can't help but feel it was a pity. I want that contact list.

Bah, might as well start now. Lol.

Warhammer 40k update: I'm now painting on commission, though painting Starship Troopers models all the time can get... boring. Probably explains my lack of motivation from time to time, where i drift off to paint my own Vostroyans :p hey, they're nice ok.... i'll get a pic. Think I'll win that Brushstrokes competition with these guys?

Won 3rd for the Novice Tournament! Choked on my first game, but bounced back by massacring my next two opponents. Great games, eh. ;P

The new Eldar rocks! So far, with my 750pt list I've had 3 straight wins. Just need a bigger guy to come along and scold me for bullying the newer players ;p school of hard knocks, that's what i say. You learn best from defeats.

Though I get pretty miffed when others jump in to help the novices. I mean, granted it ain't fair to them, (lol) but when I started out I didn't get that sort of help! Aw well, I don't mind it now. We all have to start some where.

Coming up: Band Update!

Goodness has it been so long??? Freak, where has the time gone?

I mean, where was my motivation?

Damnit.

Well, quick update, I'll leave out lots of info due to irrelevancies and outdated-ness...

Tomorrow. I'm tired. :p

Wow, it's been crazy since I made that last post, after the promos are over we all just go wild, till we forget to maintain our blogs. Thought frankly I've nothing much to say, except...

I don't mug DotA. And I can get careless, and way out of my... way.

My Xeno-Riders are done! At least 5 of them. That's enough for the tournament, I'm going to start on some of my Lizardmen Conscripts first before going on to the next squad of 5.

Here's a pic:
